Clients say the centre does a 'tremendous job' and has helped their staff to gain a level of confidence to do their job more effectively and efficiently.
On receiving their award, Kate McLean, from Communicators Training Associates Ltd. said:
"It's great to build up a relationship with an employer and see their staff develop, from doing Skills for Life qualifications right up to NVQs. You have to invest in people and being able to provide for employees' futures as well as employer's futures is one of the great benefits of learndirect."
Sarah Jones, Chief Executive of Ufi said:
"Learning changes lives and at learndirect we are passionate about helping people to develop their potential. Communicators Training Associates Ltd. is an inspiration to learning centres across England and its commitment to developing the skills and qualifications of Durham Police's learners truly deserves celebrating. To each of the winners I offer my congratulations on their success and wish them the best of luck in the future."
TV presenters Eamonn Holmes and his wife Ruth Langsford, who hosted the Achievement Awards national ceremony at The Science Museum in London, said:
"We are both delighted to support the learndirect Achievement Awards. We have worked with learndirect in the past to highlight the benefits of learning and so have seen the positive impact that learning can have on adults around the country. It is wonderful to join learndirect in celebrating those individuals and businesses who are using e-learning to train and improve their skills."
