CRG ‘Cops’ Lucrative Contract With Merseyside Police

CRG (Castlerock Recruitment Group) – the St Helens-based national recruitment and health service provider – has been appointed by Merseyside Police, as part of a £5.8 million, three-year contract.
CRG will provide Merseyside Police with a dedicated healthcare service, including FME doctors and nurses. The lucrative framework win follows a six-month tender process, which involved bringing together a specialist team of experts.
Laura Hale, Group Commercial and Implementation Director at CRG Medical Services, said: “We’re thrilled to have been appointed by Merseyside Police, which currently serves a population of around 1.3 million people.
“This contract will also enable us to work closely and collaboratively with our local healthcare partners. It demonstrates true integrated working, with a clear focus on meeting the needs of the local community through local health economy providers and stakeholders – both NHS and non-NHS.”
Laura added: “We are looking to recruit exceptional people in key roles across custody suites in Liverpool, Wirral, Birkenhead and St Helens, while seamlessly transferring healthcare professionals from the current incumbent provider. Merseyside Police serves five local authorities of St Helens, Knowsley, Sefton, Wirral and Liverpool, employing nearly 6,000 staff in a variety of roles. These include police officers, police community support officers, police support staff, special constabulary officers and volunteers.
