Keys, money, phone, plans to get home?

Cleveland Police is launching a safety campaign in conjunction with Durham and Northumbria Forces to encourage revellers in nightlife hotspots to think about their safety, particularly throughout the busy festive period.
"Keys, Money, Phone, Plans to get home?" was successfully launched in Northumbria Force area in May this year and has now been extended to the whole region with the intention of urging people, especially young women, to plan ahead when organising a night out.
As part of the campaign, officers have been speaking to party goers to reinforce safety messages, as well as handing out credit-card sized information cards with space to write on an emergency phone number.
Chief Constable of Cleveland Police, Sean Price said: "Personal safety is paramount at any time of year, but particularly so during the festive season, when we know that more people are going out during the evening and enjoying themselves.
"I'm pleased to support this campaign, which reminds people of some simple measures to take to ensure that they get home safely following a night out."
Temporary Chief Constable Sue Sim added: "It's great news that both Durham and Cleveland forces have come on board with our campaign.
"By working together we can ensure that people can make the most of the nightlife our region has to offer without compromising their safety.
"We want people to be able to enjoy going out, but we are asking them to play a part in keeping themselves safe by taking simple steps such as pre-booking a taxi home, sticking with your friends and making sure you don't make yourself vulnerable by drinking too much."
"This is an excellent opportunity for the regional forces to work together to promote personal safety over the forthcoming festive period, we're delighted to be on-board" added Chief Constable Jon Stoddart from Durham Constabulary.
The campaign encourages people planning a night out to follow this safety advice:
• Think: keys, money, phone, plans to get home
• Stick with your friends and look out for each other
• Stash some cash in case you lose your purse or wallet
• Pre-book a taxi home
• Don't make yourself vulnerable by getting too drunk
• Store an ICE (in case of emergency) number in your phone
