Deputy Chief Constable Mark Polin, who has
worked at Gloucestershire Constabulary since December 2003 and has held a number of major policing portfolios, has been appointed as the new Chief Constable of
North Wales Police.
Deputy Chief Constable Mark Polin said: "I'm very pleased to have been selected for the post of Chief Constable with North Wales, which like Gloucestershire is a high performing
force. I have very much enjoyed working with my colleagues, partners and the people of Gloucestershire and will miss
them greatly, but I will retain fond memories of my time here."
