Metropolitan Police FC announce Police Mutual as new sponsor

The Metropolitan Police Football Club has announced Police Mutual, the leading provider of Financial Services to the Police Family, as a new sponsor.

As a result of this initiative the Police Mutual logo now appears on the first and second team tracksuits, the Society has perimeter advertising inside the ground and will sponsor a number of matches this season.

"Police Mutual is very proud to sponsor 'The Blues'" said Jo Beard, Regional Development Manager with the Society. "We are dedicated to providing the best products and services to all Police Officers, Police Staff, Specials and PCSO's who are employed by The Met and this initiative demonstrates our support in helping the Police Family to tackle their financial needs."

"We are really pleased with the support we've received from Police Mutual and it's beneficial to have such a well-respected organisation involved with the football club," said Acting Chairman of Metropolitan Police FC, Graham Fulcher. "This sponsorship will allow us to fund various projects connected with the running of the club and help our push for promotion to the Ryman Premier League."

The Metropolitan Police Football Club play their home games at the Sports and Social Club in East Molesey, Surrey, widely acknowledged to have facilities which make it the best non-league ground in the country and is also home to Chelsea Ladies FC. 'The Blues' are currently 3rd in the Ryman 1st Division (South).

As the UK's largest affinity friendly society, with around 180,000 members nationwide, Police Mutual is dedicated to providing savings, investments, pensions, a mortgage service, insurance products and financial education exclusively to the Police Family.
