Graham Berville, Chief Executive of Police Mutual, presents the cheque to Christine Fulton, National President of COPS

Graham Berville, Chief Executive of Police Mutual, recently presented a cheque of £1,250 to Care of Police Survivors (COPS).

Last Christmas, Police Mutual decided to send seasonal greetings by e-mail and donate the saving made on purchasing and posting traditional cards to this worthwhile charity. The cheque was accepted by Christine Fulton, National President of COPS.

Care of Police Survivors (COPS) is a UK registered charity dedicated to helping the families of Police Officers who have lost their lives in the line of duty, rebuild their lives. It aims to ensure that survivors have all the help they need to cope with such a tragedy and that they remain part of the Police Family.
COPS was founded in March 2003 by Jim McNulty and Christine Fulton. Jim was a retired Police Officer from Strathclyde Police. Christine is the widow of PC Lewis Fulton who was murdered on duty in Glasgow in 1994.

Graham Berville commented, "At Police Mutual we are pleased to be able to support the excellent work of COPS. Nobody understands the pain of losing a loved one in the line of duty better than those that have endured it and COPS are able to put these people in touch with new survivors to help them through the grieving process."

As the UK's largest affinity friendly society, with over 180,000 members nationwide and assets of over £1.1 billion, Police Mutual is dedicated to providing savings, investment, pensions, mortgages and insurance products and financial education exclusively to the Police Family.
