HAIX has a global reputation for delivering high quality safety footwear to Emergency Services professionals, and will be displaying its leading range at the Emergency Services Show 2019, stand L77, NEC Birmingham, 18-19 September 2019.

Products on display include the Airpower XR1, Fire Eagle Vario, Special Fighter Pro and Black Eagle Safety 50 Mid, designed to protect emergency services professionals against work-related foot injury.

Emergency services professionals are often on their feet for long periods of time, working in all weathers and conditions and need comfortable footwear that will protect their feet all day.

Airpower XR1
With high-slip resistance and superior comfort, the Airpower XR1 is the ideal choice for rescue and emergency services professionals. The waterproof and breathable boots are designed with GORE CROSSTECH® laminate technology, which keeps the feet dry and moisture free for all-day comfort.

This high specification boot fulfils the requirements of safety category S3 and has an oil and petrol resistant sole, an all-terrain grip, and a protective, composite toecap with steel puncture resistant midsoles.

Fire Eagle Vario
The dynamic Fire Eagle Vario is the newcomer in slip-in design ideal for firefighters due to its ease of application and remarkable protection. The boot can withstand gruelling environments, temperatures and all-weather conditions.

The fire safety boot, designed with low light reflective strips, has excellent wear-resistance and anti-slip properties effectively reducing user wear and tear, as well as maximising overall safety.

The Fire Eagle Vario boot is equipped with GORE CROSSTECH® 4-layer technology for watertight protection eliminating the risk of user infection. The boots are designed with steel puncture resistant midsoles, which prevents nails or sharp objects penetrating the boot at the scene of the incident.

Special Fighter Pro
The Special Fighter Pro is designed with lightweight PU shock absorption for excellent thermal insulation and extra comfort when walking long distances, supporting day-day firefighter activity.

The boot incorporates a flame-resistant outer sole, which is non-marking according to EN 15090:2012, and offers excellent resistance against heat, oil and fuels. The outer sole has bright yellow signal marks, which are visible even through thick smoke allowing the safe identification of team members during emergency calls.

Black Eagle Safety 50 Mid
The Black Eagle Safety 50 is ideal for those working in the police force. The boot’s extra light protective toecap and rubber compound provides agility, durability and strong grip on different terrains.
The waterproof boot is designed with a breathable GORETEX® layer and HAIX Climate System. This delivers an excellent foot climate keeping feet fresh and cool, for superior all-day comfort.

Simon Ash, UK Sales Manager at HAIX, explains, “Our HAIX product team understand the harsh conditions working in the emergency services.
