Part time crime study in Sheffield

Sheffield Hallam University is running two postgraduate criminology courses, which can be studied part time and prepare students for careers in the police, probation and prison services and other justice-related organisations.

The MA International Criminal Justice course looks at comparative criminology across the globe and how this might affect criminal justice in England and Wales. Topics include: drugs trafficking; terrorism; organised immigration crime, such as people trafficking; firearms; sex offences against adults and children and high-tech crimes
The course that leads to an MSc in Forensic Criminology focuses on debating and examining how criminology and law work in practice. Students will explore: the agencies involved in criminal justice; how they work together to detect crime, arrest suspects, and deal with offenders; and the main criminological theories
