Thursday, 25 August, 2011

The Annual Conference is the showcase event for the Police Superintendents' Association of England and Wales.

More than 200 delegates and guests will attend the event which this year is being held at the Chesford Grange Hotel in Kenilworth, Warwickshire, from September 12-14th. Members of the Association will be joined by guests from the Home Office, Police Federation, ACPO, NPIA and other stakeholder agencies to hear presentations on a broad range of topical policing issues.

The Home Secretary has been invited to address delegates and a popular Question Time session will be held as usual.

There will also be a series of elective sessions running alongside the main Conference on a variety of complementary themes.

Presentations include the Olympics and Torch Relay, policing protests, the Winsor review of pay and conditions, direct entry and the results of the Association's recent Resilience Survey of its members.
